Regardless of if you use the PlugIn or regular services, BeeFree uses CloudFront .net as the CDN to host the social-media icons.
Doing a reverse lookup of d2fi4ri5dhpqd1.cloudfront .net (which is the BeeFree CDN) gives us this IP Address - 22.214.171.124
Which is blacklisted by CBL and SPAMHAUS ZEN
Thus anyone adding the BeeFree social media icons will be hitting spam filtering services - we've had to remove our client's social media icons and replace from our own AWS Bucket - but as this is an embedded feature, it keeps popping up with new users.
This a huge issue when you're scaling a business but now need to communicate with every single user why to NOT use the editor social media icons - which is clearly unsustainable and unprofessional.
Here is the bounce message from emails containing the CloudFront/BeeFree social media icons -
"smtp;550 This message contains a virus or other harmful content (Sanesecurity.Blurl.0063a6.UNOFFICIAL)"
They being delivered without issue if the BeeFree icons are deleted.
There have been ongoing issues with UCEprotect.net and AWS/CloudFront for years, although they're only reporting 400-500 spammers per day on the network over the past 4 days.
Without doubt, there needs to be a solution to fix these social media icons before BeeFree fix the issue.
