Button code that works in Outlook Classic and New?

Is there any sort of button code that will work properly in both "new" and "classic" versions of MS Outlook?

This is the way my buttons render in "new Outlook" released in September, and they look great:

But anyone who hasn't flipped the toggle on Outlook gets something like this:

Is there any known button code that will render properly on both editions of Outlook or do we have to just stick to plain links / images and skip HTML buttons for now?

  Hello Andrew,

  unfortunately, this is a known Outlook issue, and we wouldn't be able to provide an HTML code for buttons that could avoid this kind of rendering in the classic Outlook ESP.

  Thanks Robin - I sort of figured. :) I'll just create image buttons for now to keep things consistent. Ah, Outlook…
