Images Don't Appear In Outlook
I've created a template and exported to MailChimp.
I sent tests to Outlook, Gmail and Hotmail.
Gmail and Hotmail work perfect but images won't appear in Outlook.
Can anyone help me resolve this?

Hi Dominic,
Thanks for posting in the Beefree Community.
Without seeing the specific design with this issue, it can be tricky to troubleshoot, but my initial suggestion would be to check your design to see if the images that are not being displayed in Outlook are set as "background images."
The thing is that most Outlook email clients do not support background images. Unfortunately, this is a limitation in Outlook.
Our general advice in these situations is to define a row background color that matches the color of your background image. The background color will then render as a fallback for when the background image doesn't. For more information on this, please see Adding a background image to your designs in our help center.
I hope this helps! And if your problem isn't related to the images being background images, please let us know, and we can investigate further. In this case, I recommend submitting a ticket to our Support team so we can get some more details about your specific design and sending platform, etc.0 -
That was the issue, I changed one and it worked. Thanks Marianne.
It now presents another issue - I had a row background image and then added some text on top of it. Now some of my image is covered with the color I set.
Is there a way to add an image that isn't a row background and add text on top of it?0 -
Hi Dominic, I'm glad I could help!
To add text on top of an image that is inserted as a regular image (so, not a row background image), you will have to use some image editing software to edit your image before uploading it into Beefree.Alternatively, there is also an image editor available in Beefree that allows for some basic image editing, like adding text on top of an image. For more details, please see our help center article here: Using the image editor.
If you use any of these solutions, please note that this type of design may cause issues with the readability of the text content on different devices, as the text will not automatically adapt to different screen sizes. This is mostly relevant if you add a lot of text to your image, but I believe it's worth noting.0 -
Hi Marianne, I appreciate your help.
Is there a way to use a regular image and then add Merge Field data on top of it?0 -
Hi Dominic,
I'm not sure I understand your question exactly, I'm sorry - but if you're looking for a way to insert dynamic images with personalized text, for example, we do have a help center article here about that: https://support.beefree.io/hc/en-us/articles/360004546091-Using-dynamic-images-for-countdown-timers-and-personalized-content. Could it be something like this you're looking for?0
