CDN - CDN stands for Content Delivery Network. It's a network of servers distributing your hosted files to recipients and visitors. A monthly allowance for CDN usage is included in all Beefree plans.
Co-editing - The co-editing feature allows you to edit an email simultaneously with your teammates. In a co-editing session, you can see new updates in real-time.
Commenting - Comment on your design directly in the builder. You can also use comment mentions to ask one of your team members to collaborate with you.
Connector - Connectors are a tool you can use while exporting your design. You can use this feature to connect your Beefree account to an external sending platform. Using a connector to export allows you to send your design to your sending platform with the click of a button.
Copy - The copy function creates a duplicate version of your design or folder. Certain assets allow you to create a copy in a different folder or workspace within your account.
Emails - Emails are one of the primary types of designs you can create in the builder. Sometimes we refer to emails as "messages". Your emails are stored in the Projects tab. Emails created in Beefree must be sent through an external sending method.
Export - The export function can provide you with a ZIP, HTML, or PDF file including your design. You can also export via a connector, which exports directly to a sending platform.
Folders - Sometimes also called a “project folder.” A folder is an organizational tool where your designs are stored.
Library - Your Library serves as a collection of pre-built design elements. In this tab, you can store and manage all of your templates and saved rows.
Members - This is a specific type of user with editing permissions. In Starter accounts, all users are members. In paid accounts, all user roles are considered members except for viewers.
Navbar - The navbar, or navigation bar, is the banner at the top of the page within the platform. All navigation options are available here.
Organization - An organization is another name for a Beefree account. Accounts are listed under the organization's name.
Pages - With Pages, you can store your content in Beefree and publish it on your website. Also, you can add forms and collect information from your customers.
Projects - The Projects tab is an area in Beefree where you can design emails and pages. You can also use this area to organize your designs into project folders if you're using a paid account.
Rows - Rows act as a structural element for any design created in the builder. Every piece of content used in a design is placed into a row.
Statements - A statement is generated any time a paid subscription renews. This document provides a breakdown of the charges for your subscription. Sometimes this is referred to as an invoice.
Templates - Templates are outlines or starting points for the designs created in Beefree. You can use one of the many templates provided in the catalog, or you can create your own. Templates are stored inside the Library.
Users - Users is the generic term for anyone with access to the platform. There are two primary types of users: members and viewers.
Viewers - Viewers are a type of user without editing permissions. Viewers are only available in paid accounts.
Workspaces - A workspace is an organizational tool to store your designs. Each workspace has a unique Library and settings. Only Business and Enterprise accounts can have multiple workspaces.
