How to add a favicon to pages
This article applies to the Page builder in all plans.
Overview
We're excited to introduce the possibility to add a favicon to landing pages in Beefree!
Until now, pages created in Beefree showed the generic favicon in preview and when published, without offering the possibility to personalize it.
Favicons are important as they are visible in browser tabs, next to the web page title. They are also the icon that represents a web page in a browser bookmark, so they're a very recognizable sign of a brand.
How to add a favicon
The favicon option in Beefree is available in the Settings tab of the pages builder.
Its main purpose is to help visitors locate the page easier when they have multiple tabs open.
By clicking “Add favicon”, it’s possible to upload or import the favicon that has to be PNG, JPEG, or GIF source images.
Remember that:
-
The file manager will automatically filter out invalid images.
-
It’s not possible to select any existing, resized Favicon as a source image.
-
The image has to be square.
-
The image should be at least 260x260 px.
