Pages
This article applies to the Page builder in all plans. However, some features may be limited or unavailable on the Starter plan.
Overview
When Beefree first started, it was a drag-and-drop builder optimized for emails. However, we knew many of our customers were also using our builder to design landing pages. Unfortunately, people designing pages in our email builder encountered compatibility issues. This happened because our HTML output specifically targeted email clients.
Based on our customer feedback, we set out to create a version of Beefree optimized for landing pages. We first released our Pages Beta builder in March 2021. After only three months, we moved out of beta and into production. The Page builder is now available to all Beefree customers, and you can host your pages on our platform.
This article provides general information about our Page builder. For more detailed documentation on our Pages features, check out the following articles:

How it works
Starting from the Projects tab, use the + Create new button to start designing a page. If you're using a Business or Enterprise account, make sure you've selected a workspace first.
A modal opens and prompts you to choose between a new page or an email.
If using the + Create new button outside of a project folder, you may also see the option to create a new folder.
After selecting Create a new page, you will land on the Template catalog.
We've created a catalog of landing page templates for you to choose from. You can also start designing from scratch. You'll also have the option to convert any of our email templates to a landing page.
After selecting a template, the Page builder will launch with the selected design. You’re ready to start designing your page!
From your design list, you can view details, copy, move, export, or delete your page.
You can also create landing page templates in your Library. When you use the Create a new template button, the system will ask you if you want to create a template for an email or a page.
Hosted image delivery
You can host any of the images for your landing pages in Beefree. These hosted images count toward your monthly data transfer allowance. CDN traffic for pages is calculated using the following formula:
Total size of images included in a page (KB) * Total page views

Email vs. Pages
Content
Landing pages aren't subject to the rendering limitations of any email clients. With that in mind, we were able to add several design elements that can't be accomplished in an email.
One of the primary differences is that the Page builder includes a form content block. You can use this to create any sort of form you might need on your landing page. For more details, please see our Forms documentation:
All content blocks in the Page builder also have the option to enable a block identifier. This toggle enables you to use internal (or anchor) links. You'll see the option to use internal links on any content block that allows a URL action.
You might also notice some other minor differences, such as:
- More options available for video content blocks
- The custom HTML block will not validate or remove any of your custom code
Rows
There are also a few additional options available on the Row level. When designing Pages, you can use video backgrounds (as opposed to background images.) You can also create more columns per row when working with landing pages.
Settings
Web pages are often viewed on larger displays than emails. As a result, the Page builder supports a greater range of content area widths. Your Page designs can be as wide as 1440px.
The Page builder also includes a favicon option in the Settings tab. Its main purpose is to help visitors locate the page more easily when multiple tabs open.
By clicking Add favicon, it’s possible to upload or import the favicon that has to be PNG, JPEG, or GIF source images. This button directs you to the file manager.
Export output
This feature is limited in the Starter plan. See below for further details.
The Pages article provides a different HTML output upon export. Page HTML will not include conditional comments that we use to target email clients. However, the export file will likely include a lot more internal CSS. We use a different syntax approach because web browsers provide more CSS support.
When exporting a Page, you'll see a familiar export options modal. We've also recently released our first connector for Pages! Now you can easily push your pages to HubSpot.
PDF exports are only available in paid plans.

I am loving Pages so far - it's truly helped my workflow so much. And I understand that, as with the original email product, designing it must be a tension between simplicity / ease of use and depth of the feature set.
Still, I must say that I'm already butting up against the need to more carefully tweak my Pages, especially the styles. Similar to how we're able to insert code, it would be amazing if there was a CSS editor of some sort to edit the "global" (internal) CSS for the page, or the ability to edit individual elements' styles. Right now, I'm trying to design a page in Pages that will have another page embedded in it, and matching the style of the embedded page in my BeeFree page is nigh impossible with the style options available to us now.
With that being said, again, thanks for this great beta product, and keep up the great work, please!
Hello! Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate it! We are still working on the Pages feature so we are forwarding your feedback to our Product Team. Best.
The article says, "
You will find the new Publish feature with a corresponding toggle switch and instantly publish or unpublish your page when you are ready.
We provide you with a specific link for your page like this one- e.g. https://46y5k5e0v9.postedstuff.com/V2-SGFl-f9Cn-FSwW-bwR2/well-timed-calls/, which is composed of:
46y5k5e0v9.postedstuff.com, the main domain;
V2-SGFl-f9Cn-FSwW-bwR2, a random ID"
I don't see any of that at all when I toggle "Publish". How do I hook this to a GoDaddy account? Or is there a better way to get this seen online? What is the best /easiest way to do that?
Hello! You should see those elements in the Page Details area. If you need further assistance, please open a ticket using the widget in your BEE Pro account. Thanks!
hi there, I cannot using the "BUTTON" for open a new page anymore in preview, may I know why?
Hello Seno. Thank you for your comment. This is a recent change we implemented. We recommend testing the button after you've published your page and using the Open in a new tab link. Hope this will help.
