Exporting to Constant Contact
This article applies to the Email builder in all BEE Pro plans.
Level Up your Emails in Constant Contact
BEE is all about creating beautiful emails, fast. By connecting your Constant Contact and BEE Pro accounts, you can push your designs to Constant Contact with the push of a button.
You can choose to connect BEE Pro and Constant Contact in one of the following two ways:
- Connect before you start designing (from Workspace Settings)
- Connect the first time you need to push a specific template to Constant Contact (from Export)
Setting up a connector does not sync your BEE Pro designs with external services. If you update a design in BEE Pro after exporting it, you must re-export to see the updates. The export file will populate as a new design inside your ESP.
1. Connect from Workspace Settings
Go to Settings > Connectors.
Click the Connect button for Constant Contact.
And follow the steps to log-in. Your credentials are not stored in BEE Pro. They are just used to connect your accounts.
2. Connect from Export
When your email is ready, click on the Export button found on the Email Details page. This option is also available from the actions menu for your email.
And then click on Push to your sending system.
A new window will display with a list of the available connectors. Select Constant Contact and follow the steps to log-in and connect it. If you have already connected, you will not be asked to do so again.
The export process will always ask you to select from one of the Verified Emails from your Constant Contact account. This determines the "sender/reply email" of your Campaign. Once you open your design in Constant Contact, you can change this information at that time.
You're all set!
Are you using a Constant Contact Partner account? If so, you must be logged into your Primary account to use the connector. You will receive a server error if you are logged into a Client account when you connect or export.
After exporting, you can copy the design from your Primary account to your Client account.
Multiple Workspaces / Customers
Do you have different workspaces and need to easily manage all your emails and templates?
No problem! The Agency Version of BEE Pro allows you to set up different workspaces so you can better organize your email creation workflow. Agency allows you to specify different connectors for each workspace so you never need to switch accounts.
For example, say you are a digital marketing agency with 10 clients that use Constant Contact. With Agency, you will be able to create 10 workspace in BEE Pro and connect each of them to their specific Constant Contact account.
