SMS links not working in Gmail
Gmail and Outlook.com do not support the SMS protocol used to create SMS links.
Gmail completely strips the HREF attribute when you use the SMS protocol. This happens not only in the mobile application but also in the web client.
Outlook.com modifies the markup deleting the entire link tag. Buttons may disappear from your email, remaining as only text strings without a link.
Because both clients have these issues, when sending an SMS is the primary CTA, we recommend adding a fallback text string: "Button/link not working? Send an SMS straight through: +01 963658..."

I have this same issue. But, I am not really a coder. How should I fix this easily?
Hi Steve, thanks for your request. we suggest following Guillermo's advice. If it's not clear how to sort it out, please open a ticket to support@beefree.io. We can have a look at your message and see what's going on. Cheers.
