How do I update my BEE Pro account credentials?
Updating your Account Credentials
When you sign up for BEE Pro, you can either sign up using the traditional BEE Pro sign-in form, or you can use your Gmail credentials to create an account through Google single sign-on (SSO). If you want to update your login email address or password for BEE Pro at any time, this process is dependent on the sign-in method that you use to access your account.
Please follow the instructions depending on which sign-in method you use:
Traditional log-in form
You can update your account (log-in) email at any time by visiting the My profile page in your BEE Pro account. You will find a link to this page in the top-right drop-down menu for account navigation.
- The existing email address will receive a notification that someone has requested an account change.
- The new email address will receive a request to confirm the account change.
- It will be active only when the user confirms the address.
Use the section on the right-hand side of the page to confirm your current password and create a new one. There's no confirmation email for changing the password through this method, but please keep in mind that your password needs to meet the following requirements:
- minimum of 10 characters
- different from the email address used
- uses a combination of letters and numbers
Please note that passwords that are considered to be common may also be rejected.
When an account uses Google SSO, we don't store any log-in credentials for that account. As a result, you're not able to change anything on the My profile page except for your first and last name. Below is an example of what this page looks like when you're using an account with SSO credentials.
If you need to update the email address or password, but you're using SSO, our Support team can help! You can open a ticket using the Help widget in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, and let our team know that you need to update the log-in credentials. When you make this type of request, the following will happen:
- We will disconnect your account from Google SSO (Please note that we can't reconnect it once this is done.)
- We will provide a temporary password that you can use with the traditional log-in form to access your BEE Pro account
- You can follow the instructions for accounts using the traditional log-in form to update your email address or password.
Updating your Billing Email (if any)
BEE Pro accounts have both a log-in email address and a billing email address. If you are listed as an additional user on your account, you will not have access to this information. Only the account owner can update the billing email address. Keep in mind that the billing email address does not have to be the same as your log-in email address.
Your billing email address is where we will send your account invoices and other billing notifications. If you wish to change the billing email associated with your BEE Pro subscription, you will need to visit the My subscription page. It is accessible from the same top-right drop-down menu in BEE Pro. Once there, click on Update billing information, which can be found on the left side of the page, below your subscription details. This will open a modal inside your browser where you can update your physical billing address and billing email address.
