Goodbye beta, hello 1.0!
Keep in mind that this documentation may be out of date. Our past updates remain available in our help center as a historical record. We've come a long way since 2014!
Thanks to all the feedback received during the beta testing program, BEE plugin is officially out of beta, and premium plans are now available.
The beta version was introduced in late May, 2015 and attracted over 950 companies, who provided great feedback and helped us significantly improve the product.
We have a great roadmap ahead of us, as we continue on our vision of allowing any CRM, CMS, E-commerce or other applications to easily provide their users with a drag-and-drop email builder to design great looking, responsive emails, with minimal integration effort.
An example of the BEE editor embedded into an e-commerce solution is our MailUp App for Shopify, which is already allowing merchants to build promotional emails directly inside the Shopify store admin.
New in the 1.0
The developer portal will allow you to create your application credentials and manage the desired configurations for each one.
I'm a beta tester, what to do now?
Beta credentials will expire in 30 days.
Please sign up for a BEE plugin account on the new developers' portal to obtain new credentials. A free plan is available.
Mind that uploaded images during the beta testing period won't be available once you have switched credentials. Please back-up all these images in case you still need to use them within your application.
If you already released your integration with beta credentials, please contact us at support@beefree.io.
