Media Library

Media Library Overview
The Media Library provides you with access to the File manager from within your Library. This eliminates the need to navigate through designs to manage files.
This feature is beneficial for users who need to upload files prior to creating designs. The Media Library allows you to upload and view relevant files within it. This promotes efficient file management outside of the builder. The Media Library also reduces the risk of duplicate files, and makes your files more easy to access.
Overall, the Media Library empowers you to efficiently manage your design files outside of the builder.
Prerequisites
Ensure you meet the following prerequisites prior to accessing the Media Library:
- A Beefree Plan
- Any Beefree role except for Viewer
How to Access the Media Library
Take the following steps to access the Media Library:
- Log in to your Beefree account
- Navigate to your workspace
- Navigate to your Top bar or Sidebar, depending on your Appearance preference, and click Library
- Select the Media tab within your Library
Your Media Library will load
What’s Possible
Within the Media Library, you can achieve the following:
- Upload files from your computer
- Import files from other applications
- Search free photos
- Search free videos
- Preview a file and its URL
- Move files to other folders or directories
- Delete files you no longer need
- Search for a specific file within your folders
Acceptable File Formats
You can upload images, videos, PDFs, and other file types within the File manager. Reference the Current Limitations of the File manager to learn more about which files you can and cannot upload.
Important Considerations
When using the Media Library, consider the following:
- To exit the Media Library, click on another section within the application. For example, you can click on the Rows tab to exit the Media Library.
- To insert an image or a file into a design, you will need to enter the builder.
- If you exit the Media tab while uploading files, the upload will continue.
- When you delete an image or file, it is deleted instantly. Therefore, the media file cannot be retrieved once it is deleted.
